About Castaño Experiences

My name is Alexis Castaño — the heart behind Castaño Experiences. I’m 22 years old and the proud founder of this event and wedding planning business that was born from both love and loss.

When my dad passed away, life felt like it stood still. During that time, while supporting my mom in the hospital, I realized I needed something to focus on — something that would help me heal and bring joy back into my life. That’s when I discovered event and wedding planning. I enrolled in the Wedding Planning Program at IAP Career College and earned my certification, and from there, my dream began to take shape.

I chose the name Castaño Experiences to honor my dad. Even when my last name changes one day, I know his memory will live on through every event I create — every celebration, every smile, every moment that brings people together.

Building this business has been both exciting and scary. I’m doing it all on my own — from designing my website to taking my first steps as a new business owner — but I’m motivated by my family, my brothers, and everyone who believes in me. They inspire me to push forward and follow my dreams.

What matters most to me is trust and comfort. I want every client to feel completely at ease working with me — to know that I’m here to listen, to care, and to make their vision come to life exactly the way they imagine it. I believe that planning an event should feel personal and fun, not stressful. My goal is to create not just beautiful events, but lasting friendships along the way.

Even though I’m at the beginning of my journey, I know that planning and creativity are my natural strengths. I’ve always had a passion for design and bringing ideas together — and now I get to use that passion to help people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments.

My dream is to one day own several venues across Florida and beyond — places where people can make unforgettable memories. But for now, I’m focused on growing Castaño Experiences with heart, honesty, and dedication.
